As an aside, I recently did an article entitled "Philo- or Antisemitic". Nobody had to tell me Marc was Jewish, but as confirmation I remember noting when visiting Vilnius six years ago that their synagogue was made possible by a donation from a guy named Cohodes.

The guys who control the art market, in particular the founders of Masterworks.com, appear very Jewish. The art critics who promoted Kooning and Pollock, Rosenberg and Greenberg, just might have been Jewish.

To repeat the conclusion of my article above, Jews are a force of nature. Whatever they choose to do, they will have an impact. They often do things that deserve our support and admiration. And there is money to be made betting alongside them.

As a follow-on, I have just wasted an hour listening to a couple of smart, sarcastic guys - Chris Irons and Andy Schechtman. I've used Miles Franklin for investments since it was run by Andy's father David. Chris (Quoth the Raven) sent me his blog for free for several months before I had to concede he was great and I subscribed, just to support him.

They talk about education, macroeconomics, Trump, the media -- everything. I love it all.

I'm only guessing that these guys are Jewish. In any case, it is the kind of thinking that I love. Here's the link.

Thanks for the link. I get his substack notices but haven't paid. When I heard him talk about things being okay in 2004 or so and then liberalism moves the goal post just a little bit more it struck me that this has been going on long before 2004. It's like every generation for the last 70 years would say things were okay around the age of 21 or so and then they move the goal posts a few years later. LOL. And they push back and liberalism bides it's time and waits for the next move. For instance, Chris Irons said he was for gay marriage and diversity. [Does that mean quotas?. We've had race quotas (school busing) since the 70s and evern before with Brown vs. Board of Education in 1954. But now it's so blatant, plus sex quotas1, that a possible NYC mayor openly says he's going to tax white neighborhoods more.)

Personally, I'm rather pessimistic that the US is really capable of correcting the damage. It's too late. We might have another few years before a new Obama comes in to save various swelling numbers of sacred victim groups and at some point the level of incompetence will tip into catastrophic failure where things like the power grid won't work and rolling blackouts become the new norm. I actually just read an article in the Wall Street Journal where the author, a woman, said everyone owning a backup generator is the ideal. Essentially, we, meaning the west, are collectively suicidal.

How's everything going over there? I just read that there are a lot of fires in Kiev now from attacks. Is that true? You all are ok in your area?

It's 7:00 in the morning. There were explosions all night. None sounded terribly close to us. though Eddie went out on the porch and saw a couple of missiles or drones shot down.

This Ukrainian site is usually the quickest to present the news of such strikes, with photos. So far they are only writing about wounded, though from the scale of the attack I would be surprised if there were none killed.
