Just read Paul Craig Roberts' article. Apparently Russia will win because..... He actrually gives no reasons whatsoever. Not even bad reasons. Nothing.

Not sure why the Russians will be prevail in Ukraine. I'm not there of course but the Ukrainians seems to be fighting a good fight. Wars are fought by logistics and the West has a much greater capacity to produce and deliver the stuff wasted on the battlefield. The Russian sanctions will keep Russia from building the necessary production capability. That could lead to use of horrific weapons which is a danger for a cornered Putin but that would unleash all sorts of unknowns. Would Ukraine be worth that to Russia? Aside from Russia's ego what could the purpose be to continue this war? To my mind Russia has failed already.

In analogy to the current Vaccination, I think Putin injected himself with Vaccine without checking the facts himself.

Just had a look at TK news, looks very interesting. If there is a spare subscription going, I'd be grateful.

CAN win or WILL win? If it’s economy does not collapse first and the upcoming Ukraine offensive fails to achieve its objectives then it would become a protracted war of attrition. Russia has lost 100,000 killed in action and Ukraine has lost 100,000 kia. Manpower-wise, Russia has the advantage. Also, how long will European support hold up through a protracted conflict? Ukraine must finish it by summer.

Nobody knows the exact numbers, but almost all estimates put Russia's losses well higher than Ukraine's.
