"Ukraine is an overwhelmingly Christian country. The small but visible Jewish, Muslim and Gypsy minorities receive strong and consistent Christian tolerance. Comparing our situation with that of the United States and Western Europe, it is clearly better them depending on our tolerance rather than the other way around."

So why the helter-skelter descent into destruction that is the EU?

While you may be right in that our evolution dooms our future, how then do we explain evolution created the intelligence that once existed? Indeed our genetic mix may be devolving back to the dark ages as a result of assimilating so many tribes but does that not continue the process of evolution? After all the less skilled learn and adapt. Our ability to tolerate "defectives" in society depends on our achievements to sustain that tolerance which if intelligence declines too far will go away and evolution then starts anew. Self correction or the pendulum swings back.

More troubling is the decline in public morals. We seem to accept behaviors that would have never been tolerated in the past. Can't know if that is worldwide, apparently less so in Ukraine but violence and public lewdness seem to be tolerated in the US.

Evolution is a question of survival of the fittest. The most intelligent used to be the most fit. Now it is the dumbest. Follow the links to my review of At Our Wits End and/or Breeding The Human Herd. I try to sum the books' message up in two or three pages.

“Those of us of traditional American stock”. And how much Native American blood do you have? You blow your entire argument with that phrase. Like it or not, change is inevitable.

You are being silly. What I wrote is perfectly clear - descendants of the first European settlers. All of history is a chronicle of one people displacing another. Indian tribes were actively displacing one another when my Mayflower ancestors arrived in 1620. The Mayan civilization disappeared without any help from us.

Change is inevitable. Evolution brings change. That's my point.
