Some readers interpreted the words of people I quoted as my own. With only about 400 subscribers, and none of my own first hand reporting, I'm not terribly concerned about the Russians listening in. The brother-in-law who disinvited me on account of being unvaccinated was also from somebody else. Oksana does have a brother, but he doesn't give a damn about Covid.

I have written that I like the freedom here in Ukraine. A friend from the West wrote: "I offered a friend (who just left Estonia for the UK) to start reading your list. He is afraid to read it because he says the EU monitors email and he does not want to be visited by the secret police, as recently happened to a friend of his in Sweden. I did not realize that the surveillance and repression are that bad in Europe. I do not regard the US as living up to free speech, but at least it is not this bad."

The tyranny introduced in the name of Covid – loss of free speech, bodily autonomy, right to travel – is to me much more frightening than the Russians. Perversely, we owe the Russians a debt of gratitude for making it so obvious.

Yet another subscriber chimes in "I think we share the opinion that 1)  The West prodded and poked Russia into this, 2)  Putin committed a terrible act of war, and miscalculated the response from the Ukrainians, of whom I am quite proud to raise their flag.  Yet the SS types are there, and they now have free rein.  What they hell, they defended Ukraine, and I’ll carry them on my shoulders, too."

"At the same time, I am filled with great sadness, because Russia is going to be a pariah from now on, unless they become “Woke” and get rid of VVP.  He supported many things I support, and now, we’ve lost a voice for family values and anti-LGBTQXXXX, because he was living in his own little world.  I thought he was smarter than that."

The news on the war front is that Russia seems to be stymied all around. None of those vaunted armored columns are moving. Gary sent a link to this video of Turkish drones taking out Russian tanks on one of the country's only good highways, E95 about 15 miles northeast of me. Just to repeat, there is no place for tank to hide on an open road, and since they cannot operate in mud, the carcasses of dead tanks blocking roads gum things up pretty well.

Tens of thousands of Russian soldiers are stranded, starving, freezing, constantly lied to and hungry. Morale is abysmal. That can't go on for too long. Bob Homans quotes Bellingcat is guessing between seven and 11 days. Putin is a guy who likes to spring surprises – this would be a great time for a dramatic exit from the world stage.  As the gift to the Russian nation of its next generation of fathers. They would not serve the Motherland well as fertilizer.

Ron Unz put his neck out a couple of years ago with the theory that the United States might have purposefully released Covid 19 during the military games in Wuhan in October 2019. The Unz Review has hosted a bevy of Covid skeptics.  Unz himself has a well considered article in the wake of the Victoria Nuland revelations. The whackadoodle, tinfoil hat brigade was onto something after all!

I wrote yesterday that the bad news about the lingering effect of the so-called vaccines just keeps piling up. It affects me only insofar as my children's age cohort will be smaller and sicker than any we can remember. And yet they keep it up! A refugee friend in Germany has said he needed to be cagey to avoid is kids being jabbed. At this late date? And we thought the Germans were smart. On the biowarfare front, one of you writes  that Sen. Lugar was at a ceremony for the opening of the laboratory in Odessa a while back.

A reader of the liberal persuasion dared me to read the Washington Post account of what's going on. I did so. Doing such is a worthwhile exercise every now and again. It reinforces one's resolve to clean up the whole Washington mess. I have a request to make of people who send me stuff like this. Download it and send me a PDF. Mainstream media companies are so starved for readers that they put everything behind a paywall. It does not make it attractive to those of us who would not read their crap in the first place, much less pay for it.

Odd that I in Kyiv and Edward Slavsquat in Moscow both see Covid and its sponsor, the New World Order, as the real enemy. As does the subscriber above who is attempting to outrun the clot shots in Germany.  That battle is just beginning, and we in Ukraine perhaps understand the enemy better, and are better positioned to fight it than you are. You need to:

o   Throw Klaus Schwab's "Young Global Leaders" out of office everywhere they have wormed their way in.
o George Soros’ judges and district attorneys likewise
o   Kill bioweapons research worldwide.
o   Stop the Covid injections
o   Investigate whatever identifying graphene, nanoparticles etc. may have been included in the "vaccines"
o   Kill national level databases of health and financial data
o   Kill proposals for digital currency that would control your lives.

That's only a start. We should consider ourselves lucky that the events of 2022 have flushed these to the surface before it was too late to fight them.
