You were inadvertently right. Of course the events are used against him, regardless of the facts of the events. Such is the system we live in.

It is remarkable how bad the Russian logisitics and organisation is. I pray that this does keep them from Kyiv but I am afeared that they will revert to the traditional Russian tactics of mass brute force, regardless of casualties or cost. Maybe something will give on the Russian side? There must be a lot of important Russians seriously unhappy about this foolishness. Putin is strong but who knows what is happening in the backrooms of Moscow?

Here's a long article today on Russian logistics. With regard to guerilla tactics, we don't need them. The citizenry is up in arms, spitting in the face of the Russians. See Berdyansk. A lovely seaside town I have visited twice. Very Russian-speaking, very anti-Russian.

2) In a sign of things to come, (and in the future it won't just be "over there") the Moscow subway system ground to a halt after Google and Apple pulled the plug on their payment systems in Russia. I think the fact the the population is up in arms pretty much means that guerilla tactics will be perfect in occupied areas. And as for the future, I have just invested in a cybersecurity company with extensive links to the MOD. I think you can understand why.
