A sad story eclipsed by a second family, where love is shared. Your wife was simply deficient at creating a family. And the kids never saw through that.

It's difficult not to be appreciated, and you were the undeserving recipient.

Still, look what you now have!

God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. It took a while, but here it is! Eddie was eager to discuss the first three chapters of world history today, from australopithecus through the neolithic age. He is biking with Zoriana to kindergarten while I am feeling less than 100%.

'the single fact that I left my wife trumps everything else.' Curious. We live in a society in which the majority of marriages end in divorce, in which divorce is looked upon as a positively good thing and in which to criticise divorce is considered utterly reactionary.

And yet....... if a man chooses to divorce, suddenly it is genuinely stunning and almost scandalous. That insight is worth pondering.

Thanks. I would recommend that any parents reading this blog take a look. I made my own choice when I left the United States. Neither I nor my kids have television or smart phones. They are not allowed to use computers in their rooms. They watch perhaps three hours of video a week – mostly cartoons from 40 and 50 years ago.
