I guess I'm a bit simple minded. Money should reflect a store of value. I ought to be able to buy a glass of beer for X units of labor. If I am a really smart person who delivers 1000Y to society perhaps that X might be one minute of labor. If I choose to be a building custodian, once the janitor, then maybe 20 minutes of labor. Somewhere along the line we disconnected money as a store of value by suggesting it had no loan value. That can't even be possible, yet magically we did it. There is an element of surreal truth to where the world is with respect to a trade dollar.
