I like French jokes, but from Japan's point of view, France looks like a completely selfish country. Some business women are good-natured, but some time ago a Japanese commentator said that France was like a (vicious) business woman. I don't think it's possible to say that all French people are like that, but as a country, it seems that selfishness and the consciousness of the European leader are mixed. It's kind of a messy country.
