Thanks for that. I like it. I'll read the book. :)

Wasn't aware that Jews were behind the secular effort to end Christianity. Might be true to the extent the new Democratic party seems intent on ending religion but that pretty much includes all religions. Perhaps this started back in 1984 when Reagan got the attention of the religious right as abortion became politically charged. I tried to get abortion removed from the Republican platform but it then has become a wedge issue exploited by both parties. In return religion itself has become polarized which is not particularly a good thing IMHO.

I've learned a bit. Will pass these reviews to my Jewish friend.

The long story of pretending to make sense of the Jewish People by "gentiles" like Kevin MacDonald always seems to channel the same oblivious "self interest" that is supposed to be so uniquely identified among "the Jews". I read your earlier comment Graham, and this spin on the Old Testament is completely wrong, based on the plain language of scripture.

The Canaanites (in the Bible) were "bad people", devoted to child sacrifice and numerous horrors listed in the text. Evidently, they were offending everyone, and dominated the area from militarized city states. The Israelite (not "the Jews") were agricultural, pastoral people that made a confederation of 12 tribes, and settled the land much like Americans in the colonial days.

Making inane comparisons with the modern colonial history of Israel today is off base, there were few Jews in "Palestine" 150 years ago, but there were very few people there at all. The entire population of what became BRITISH PALESTINE in 1920 was less than half a million c. 1882, and the "Palestinians" are not some aborigines that were evicted from that empty waste.

Palestine is a sliver of land that is indistinct from the whole East Med littoral, and it is part of the vast, imperial history of Arab Civilization. Most Palestinian Arabs today are due the massively high 3rd world birthrates, like the rest of the Arab World. They are as much "immigrants" to Palestine as anyone else, moving into that area in large numbers from surrounding areas over the last 150 years, just as Blacks moved to White areas in S. Africa, etc. All they ever seem to want is to get closer to the Jews so they can wait in line for genocide and medical care, etc.

It doesn't take a high degree of "ethnocentrism" to combine in order to avoid general massacre, and that's why the Israelis were forced into war 1948 onward, nor did they wantonly "expel" anyone, outside of dire necessity. They probably SHOULD have, but as you pointed out, many Jews are low birthrate liberals who are basically unwilling to shed blood.

Palestinians are hardly "few in remaining numbers", half the population between Jordan and the Sea.

You exemplify the style of argumentation that MacDonald describes. I therefore know better than to rebut your points. It would never end. Perhaps others are up to it. To me it simply a book with an interesting point of view, one of more than 500 I have reviewed on Amazon.

What "style" is that? It's the plain truth, which is something usually avoided by MacDonald, who wants to make a point that sells books. I think the word "argument" is overused these days, my words are deconstructing things which are impossible or wrongfully compared. An "argument" is something made to explain a point (like in court). You could rebut facts, or counter an argument, but it is not possible to rebut an argument.

It reminds me of people who say illegal immigration to the USA is "like burglary" or that a continent is "like a house, and you wouldn't let strangers trespass would you?" That is an argument, but it is specious because the fact comparison is wildly out of portion. I do not live "in" a continental landmass, and nobody has a house the size of America.

The thing about "gentiles" is the urge to existential ethos, and all geometry be damned. By gentile, I mean agendas that takes precedence over structure, nature, or time. Untethered Ethos is something religious, or transcendent, and it doesn't work in the real world.

I think you could draw the comparison with the situation now in Ukraine, where it looks like a bunch of people got carried away in their mind, and forgot about reality. National feeling rooted in "the right side of history" is usually the winning combination.

"low birthrate liberals who are basically unwilling to shed blood" - Please help me understand that after some mighty big wars to eliminate Israel has indicated they fight well. Their use of females in combat encouraged the US to include females in combat roles. The Israel defense establishment has done well modding US gear and produce some good stuff themselves. Recent combat excursions haven't been done as well but they remain aggressive about their security.

Israel and Ukraine together, it's a new model for the 21st century. Surprising states that overcome the odds against much larger powers through innovation and design.

Doesn't change that Israelis are still getting killed by terrorists every year, half the nearby population is existentially hostile, surrounded by armies waiting for the next chance.

The State of Israel STILL funds Arab women to have welfare babies, just to be "liberal".

"One would at least conclude that the Jews are not acting out of informed self-interest."

There's a word for that. "Stupid."
