The real one is much more substantive. Tucker acquits himself quite well. It is long - 23 pages in 11-point type when I printed it out. Putin cites a lot of history, and Tucker does not do too badly.
Putin’s core claim is that Ukraine is and has been part of Russia. The second set of claims concern historical injustices by the US, the CIA, NATO etc.
Putin never satisfactorily, IMHO, answers the question that Tucker repeatedly asked. Why a war? Why now?
I am pleased to see the issues on the table. Humble enough to say that others can do a far better job of answering them than I.
The Ukrainian diaspora cannot afford to ignore this. They cannot afford to ignore Tucker Carlson. This demands an answer. Please, Taras Kuzio, Alexander Motyl and others. Take this seriously.
