The United States government is telling its citizens to leave Ukraine immediately. They say we should cross the border into Poland for sanctuary. They do not say what would happen after we get the Poland – I assume we would be on our own.
"American citizens must present a valid U.S. passport and proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to entering the country. Travelers are encouraged to present a negative test result from a PCR or antigen COVID-19 test, which will facilitate entry into Poland."
This seems contradictory – why should you need both a shot and a negative test result? It makes no difference to me. I do not have either, nor do I have any desire to run away from Kyiv to go to Poland.
This whole crisis is contrived. It is interesting to me that whereas most of the mainstream media in the United States is still very much on the Covid and the anti-Russia bandwagons, Tucker Carlson is bold enough, unlike others at Fox, to at least stand up to the people who are beating the drums of war. Here is a link to an interview he gave with Tulsi Gabbard. I think they both make a great deal of sense.
They ask the obvious questions. First, why would Russia invade Ukraine? Second, why is it any of the United States' business if it does? Third question, which many of you have asked me is whether I will be in danger if they do so? I don't think so.
The top headline in Zerohedge this morning is "Zelensky Invites Biden To Visit Ukraine In 'Coming Days' In Pushback Against 'Imminent' Invasion Fears." With Putin and Zelensky both saying there will be no war, it makes it pretty obvious who the warmongers are. The powers behind the 79-year-old sock puppet.
I seized the moment to exchange dollars today. The best Biden could do for me was to jack the hryvnya rate up from 28 to 28.50 to the dollar. Not much of a panic, but I took it.
If you follow the links that I post on this blog you can read that a great many people believe that the vaccinations, if you can call them that, are dangerous. I would say that my chances that a shot would accelerate my death are high. Conversely, the danger of dying in a Russian invasion are quite low.
I was in more danger in Vietnam because the Vietcong were not such professional soldiers. They would throw bombs into restaurants just as a matter of terror. The Russians have a disciplined military. They do not do things haphazardly. As an out-of-the-way civilian I don't think I would have a worry.
Steve Kirsch, whom I follow closely, has raised the specter of another pathogen, hemorrhagic fever. I investigated and I do not think the threat is that real. First of all, it is significantly more deadly than Covid. The establishment had a psychological advantage with our current plague. They used a minor threat to incite a major panic and to achieve the goal of injecting a vast percentage of the human population with these novel biological products. Hemorrhagic fever would present a real danger.
Secondly, from what I read, hemorrhagic fever is spread by contact more than through the air. It should be easier to contain by quarantine. Quarantines have been used for this family of viruses – Ebola, Marburg, Zika and the like – in Africa. Unless they have bioengineered it for aerosol contagion, it should not spread all that readily.
Third, Kirsch names an antidote – the existing cancer drug darzelex. I was successful getting hydroxychloroquine against Covid 19 early in the game, so I checked it out. This is a whole different animal. Against cancer, it is an expensive drug that has to be given intravenously for a month. There is no way the Chinese could let a monster disease like this loose at the risk of having to keep their own population in bed, tied to drips, for a month. They would have to have a better treatment than this one Kirsch names.
To repeat an earlier observation, the Chinese appear to be using a traditional, inactivated virus Covid 19 vaccine. I have not read about adverse effects of the kinds seen with the mRNA and DNA vaccines used in the West. They do use an aluminum adjuvant, similar to that used in childhood vaccines in the United States. The Children's Defense Fund and others link such adjuvants to autism and other long-term adverse effects, but nothing on the order of the adverse effects recorded in the American, English and European adverse event reporting systems for the Covid 19 vaccines.
The Chinese have a long-term perspective. They have no need to introduce a new plague upon humanity when the evidence indicates that the existing one is doing exactly what the Chinese might want. The daіlуexpоse dоt uk this week has four articles beginning with "The Covid 19 vaccines cause AIDS." What's that? Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. Weakening the immune systems of people throughout every major nation standing in the way of Chinese hegemony. We may hear more about this –stay tuned.
On the home front, Eddie took two buses across town to spend the night with his best friend Yarema. I used the tomato sauce featured a couple of days ago to make a pizza. The ladies of the family endured my frowns as Marianna sat on the table and got her hands into everything. At least she had a diaper. Another battle that I constantly lose is whether it benefits the baby to have her bare bottom exposed to the air. At the risk of piddle puddles on the furniture. And on daddy.
And that's the news from Lake WeBeGone, where the strong men, good-looking women and above-average children are staring down the barrels of Russian tanks. Or maybe not.
