The most prolific of the YouTubers I follow is Prof. Darrin Gerdes. Among the things I like about him are his openness and collegiality. He gives generous credit to other bloggers, often filming joint presentations. His chief asset is a vast amount of energy. Others have deeper knowledge of Ukraine, languages, weaponry and so on. Gerdes is a master of pulling it all together.
Today he mentions Sergei Sternenko (Сергий Стерненко), the most widely followed of the many Ukrainians who blog about the war, with 2.11 million followers on YouTube. Although there are many Internet personalities collecting funds to support the war effort, Sternenko appears to be the most effective. With Gerdes’ mention today, and my longstanding respect for Sternenko, I sent another donation.
