If Ukraine keeps bombing the hell out of Russia's energy/fossil fuel infrastructure, Russia will lose, and lose hard. The Russian government is in financial straits, and things are getting worse - corralling 40% of your production into the ultimate non-profit-making, money-sucking "consumer economy", a/k/a war, will drive you into bankruptcy quickly. The UK was bankrupt after WWI and WWII - food rationing only ceased in 1955 - and they lost their empire. Russia did not start off better than the UK, all it has is fossil fuels - and it can't manufacture the metal goods to make the oil patch parts like drilling bit and wellheads, and they're going to have a hell of a time replacing oil refineries if they get all smashed and burnt to hell - which is what the Ukrainians should be doing. That, and destroying important rail infrastructure, especially a certain bridge linking a certain island to the mainland... And the pundits can't read a f*cking map, because if they could, they wouldn't be putting out that arrant nonsense. I presume that Zelenskyy et al can read maps - and I think Trump can, too, and I think he's compromised, and the Russians know it, and he'd better stay in line or else, that's my bet. The only way Putin comes out halfway decent is if the West lets Putin con them into accepting a lousy deal... and even then Ukraine must fight on.
Things are moving fast. Pundits claim we wiped out 20% of refining capacity in one month. Two more such months and they are back in the dark ages. Ukraine is doing the right things. Emphasizing defense on the battlefield, and knocking the crap out of Russian infrastructure.
