Answering reader mail about Covid. Statistical sleight-of-hand. Depopulation analysis.

Reader Camella took me up on my offer to quibble. She sent an articulate and well documented note, annotated below. Here is my response.
Dear Camella –
The issue is whether or not the government is lying to us. All of the links that you provide, and the graphs, come directly or indirectly from the US and UK governments.
Reproducible results is the hallmark of good science. As they publish a graph they should indicate what database they used and what definitions so we could derive the numbers ourselves. The CDC, for instance, usually considers people to be “unvaccinated” for the first two weeks after they receive a shot. Not coincidentally, that two week period is when the most deaths occur. So let’s make sure we know what were looking at.
The CDC and FDA are not disinterested parties. They have long collaborated with the pharmaceutical companies and been tied in with the researchers in his laboratories the “gain of function” was developed. They have issued erroneous statements before, about the effectiveness of masks, social distancing, lockdowns and so on. They also claimed that the vaccines would prevent infection. They later claimed that they would prevent transmission. They claimed that there would be no need for boosters.
They do not have a good track record for prediction. They would have an incentive to present less than the full truth if only to save face. But more than that, many members of the senior civil service have investments in the pharmaceutical companies. It does not seem prudent to trust the data that they present. There should be independent verification.
The BBC is part of the British government, and is the initiator of the Trusted News Initiative, which is designed to advance the government narrative. I do not know if the Scientific American is included or not. They have, since the very beginning, been strongly supportive of the government narrative. The other sources to which you link, the CDC and the ONS, are government agencies.
That said, here is my take, point by point, on your letter. Since your hyperlinks would not work in this graphic format, I have included notes in the bitmap portion and your links themselves at the bottom.

Toby Rogers has a damning take on the incredibly simplistic approach that the pharmaceutical companies use for statistical analysis of the efficacy and safety of their products. I quote him here.
Vaccine safety studies tend to be bivariate — they only look at two variables — the vaccine (independent variable) and whether someone suffered an adverse event (dependent variable). It’s actually even worse than that. Vaccine safety studies almost always look at children who have received the full vaccine schedule as compared with children who have received the full schedule +1 more vaccine. And on that basis, they decide whether the 1 additional vaccine is safe. There is no unvaccinated control group. And they do not control for hundreds of other variables that influence health and disease.
When I read a vaccine safety study for the first time, a sickening panic swept over me — “no, no, no, this cannot possibly be. THIS is what the CDC is relying upon!? THIS is what the CDC is using to claim that vaccines are safe!?” Far from being too advanced, these studies are so crude they would fail any Statistics 101 class in any college in America. Tears streamed down my face.
So I read another, and another, and another “vaccine safety” study (eventually reading all 20). And they were all the same. These studies are preposterous because they cannot possibly answer the question they are trying to tackle because their methods are too basic. Vaccine safety studies contain no biology, no chemistry, and vanishingly little statistics. These people are doing arithmetic, badly. In fact, they resemble a card trick more than anything having to do with science. I realized that the CDC has no idea what it is doing — the entire field of pediatrics and public health is a Potemkin Village, a Ponzi scheme, the worst intellectual fraud that I have ever seen.
On a vaccine related note, I mentioned a while ago that the vaccines are causing a resurgence of what was supposed to be an eradicated disease – polio. This article describes how a little bit of live virus slips through the manufacturing process, enough to affect a few people. It also goes on to explain that polio is asymptomatic in most people. The devastating effects are felt by only a few. They do not assess whether or not it makes sense to continue to administer an imperfect vaccine. All they do is note that the supposition of a 100% solution seems to be wrong.
I guess there is poetic justice. Here is a story about a tragic palsy striking Anatoly Chubais, one of the masters of the Russian clot shot game, and the favorite bête noire of my man Edward Slavsquat. Slavsquat has the best article, but an Internet search will turn up a couple of others.
Depopulation is one of the themes that gets a lot of my attention. Just yesterday I came across this wonderful, fairly long article about the history of depopulation campaigns, and the reasons that vaccines are probably the best possible vector for accomplishing depopulation.
I am working on a video based on my assumption that there is substance to the agenda. As I conceive it now, there will be two parts. The first addresses the “So What?” argument. I find myself in a minority here, as I did in the United States, wanting to invest my time and energy in bringing up a new generation and passing on my culture. This first video will grandly address the meaning of life. Or rather, the meaning I find in my life and how it differs from most people I know. The second one will be along the “What Now?” line. What do I have to do to optimize my children’s chances of passing along their genome?
That’s the news from Lake WeBeGone, where the good-looking woman is off to teach music to Zoriana’s kindergarten class, Eddie is off to study music, and Marianna is out for a walk with grandmother.
Nice work on your refutation, I long ago lost the patience for such, it rarely does any good, except as a way to organize your thoughts...
Average weekly death rates in Mar 2022 - from where? The data are via SciAm reported by the CDC "unvaccinated people 12 years and older had 17 times the rate of COVID-associated deaths, compared to people vaccinated with a primary series and a booster dose." Is this the fallibility of numbers? And the averages are over what period of time - the month, year, all time? First that seems to be contradicted by many SubStack reporters (Kirsch for one) where stats are actually collected (San Diego Cty). My sense of things is that Omicron is killing the vaccinated much more often than the unvaccinated. I've seen so much data now that scares me given my two shots. No more for certain and I am not alone in my regrets.
